Hofner 450 model 1958-59

Model 450 from the late 1950s, built in Germany,

Built all in maple, with a rosewood fingerboard and a stained maple bridge, the bridge's paste saddle has been replaced with a bone one. It has a scale of 64 cms

This model was marketed through Selmer, under the name "Congress" for import to the UK and USA.

All parts are original and in very good condition, with normal signs of use that are barely noticeable.

It has been totally revised and is firm and comfortable to play, tuning well. Strung with 0.11 80/20 bronze strings.

Revised and polished original bronze frets, oiled fingerboard, great sound!
